Lee Chaewon Launches Special Project with Domestic and Global Institutions in the Year of the Red Horse
As foreign capital continues to play a significant role in South Korea’s equity market, symbolizes speed and overseas investors are increasingly turning to collaboration based on quantitative investment models.
Lee Chaewon, in partnership with local institutions and international capital, has launched the “Red Dash 818%“ Quantitative Investment Project. The initiative centers on a systematic, data-driven investment framework, targeting mid- to long-term strategic allocations across key growth sectors, including semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, and emerging industries.
According to project officials, the adoption of quantitative systems aims to establish more sustainable medium- to long-term return pathways, even amid increasingly complex and volatile market conditions.
Industry observers note that the project carries both symbolic and strategic significance as it coincides with the Year of the Red Horse (Byeongo Year). Traditionally associated with speed, decisiveness, and momentum, the Red Horse symbolism has drawn market interest at a time when quantitative, rules-based strategies are increasingly viewed as tools to navigate heightened uncertainty and identify selective opportunities.
